If 2010/2011 was the era of the reign of Alice in Wonderland, then 2012 is definitely shaping up to be the year of Snow White. Not only is she one of the main stars of current hit TV show “Once Upon a Time”, but she’s also the star of not one, but two (yes count them, two!) big budget movies coming out this year. For those not in the know, in the evil axis, it’s the battle of Julia Roberts vs Charlize Theron
Just like during the Alice reign, artist Camille Rose Garcia is already on top of things with her own literary interpretation of this tale.
So who’s next for a fairy comeback? My money right now is riding on Cinderella, since last I heard it, Mark Romanek (giddy enthusiasm if it looks anything like The Perfect Drug!) was in talks to helm a big screen adaptation. I presume we’ll be be seeing Camille’s work again if that ship ever sets sail. Until then, here’s some bits and pieces of Snow White:
