Full disclosure pt1: I find Anne Hathaway somewhat annoying, her giggly good girl thing tend to border on the grating side of things (for similar effect see Kate Hudson, hence Bride Wars is a double whammy of annoyingness).
Full disclosure pt2: As a kid, I always thought Catwoman was awesomely cool and Michelle Pfeiffer’s take in Tim Burton’s Batman Returns was my idea of perfection, equal parts campy, salacious and quirky, all wrapped up in a nice little package of latex and gothish scenario.
Having this in mind, finding out that Anne was cast as the new Catwoman in the upcoming Batman, made me shake my head in true “she better not ruin this” mode.
She (or her agent, publicist, team, whatever) has apparently taken to the shedding her good girl persona very seriously and is now featured in a Interview magazine, killer dark editorial by dynamic duo Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott, all very reminiscent of some sort of eerie haunted tale.
Well done, let’s wait and see if she can keep it up.

I can’t stand her either, but these photos are striking. Wow.
good to know I’m not alone :)
I’ve never cared much for her either, but she may break out under Chris Nolan’s direction and show a side we’ve never seen before.
Somehow and looking back at Katie Holmes and Scarlett Johansson I doubt it, but stranger things have happened!
