I don’t know what’s the deal with these hyperrealist artists, once again, great work, but absolutely no information…so I’ll just tell you to look at Steve Smith’s pretty paintings, who apparently dreams of sunny days, holidays and sunglasses. Can’t say I blame him!

Oh my gosh, so gorgeous! Love the play of light!
I know, everything feels so warm and sunny, making you wish it was summer all year around :)
Gorgeous. Just gorgeous. I love the cool, tropic vibe. Makes me want to go for a dip in the pool.
That’s not hyperrealism …
these pictures are gorgeous. And it has a very tropical feel to it.
wow, this was absolutly increadible, I love it!
Agree with Jack, these arent hyperrealist, and the paintings that look like photographies are also not called hyperrealistic – that is a very different awesthetical branch.
Hyperrealism is a genre of painting and sculpture resembling a high-resolution photograph. Hyperrealism is a fully fledged school of art and can be considered an advancement of Photorealism by the methods used to create the resulting paintings or sculptures. The term is primarily applied to an independent art movement and art style in the United States and Europe that has developed since the early 2000s
Just so you know, these are more surrealist, not nearly hyperreal. Hyperrealism should be mistakable for a photo, having realistic colours and LOADS of detail. These paintings are very low-detail and focus more on colours and moods.
But they’re very nice =).
I agree they aren’t hyperrealism. I mean, #5 maybe, but the rest are just paintings.but they are nice.
gorgeous!
who gives a fuck about the categorization? these are beautiful!! well done
agree! i would put one of those paintings in my home, in my bar or in my ofice. Looks nice, inspieres optimism and leads you toward a good and relaxed mood that i belive we all are craving for in the dense grey of our cities.
For times when an HD cam isn’t available get this guy!
Anyone know a tutorial about how to do this?
yeah, practice, practice, practice, and practice
Erm…not hyper-realism, clearly.
Very nice website, with very good artwork.
thanks!
Nice art, but nothing to do with hyperrealism.
Yeah, these are very stylized. Not hyper-realist at all. Definitely based on blown-out digital photographs. The eye does not clip the whites like this. Maybe know what you’re talking about before writing about it.
emm I am wondering what is the image on the sunglasses in the first pic?
Looks like a cloudscape to me.
I love these! The use of color is amazing!
Does anybody know what type of paint he uses?
can’t say I do…
wow beautiful work
Stunning Work. More please?!
take a look at the related posts I guess :) maybe you’ll find something to your liking!
I love the colors used in these paintings. I feel so relaxed just looking at them. :D
