Trying to expand their repertoire of activities, photographic wonder duo Norman Cavazzana, have turned their attention to jewelery, their eye set on a simple philosophy: “Jewelry should pay homage to the past, while embracing the future. It should take on a new persona – it must rock tradition.”
The resulting line created in collaboration with two leading Swedish craftsmen, Jenny Edlund & Tobias Andersson was named NC RAW and is a unique 12 piece jewelry collection that features hand-crafted silver rings and brooches, resorting to such fine materials as black and white sapphires and rubies.
Being photographers of course a unique campaign was expected, and the duo adorned the already brooding shots with sketches reminiscent of the textures and shapes of the pieces, trying to capture that sense of beautiful imperfection and raw elegance that defines the identity of the collection.
