Clearly, great minds think alike. Have I not been obsessing about butterflies lately?
Lo and behold, Sarah Burton’s debut as Alexander McQueen head designer, where a couple of the outfits were very butterfly centric. Sarah had a hard task at hand, to continue the legacy left by McQueen, but I think she acquitted herself of the shore quite well. The collection was undoubtedly a bit self referential, but Sarah still managed to get her own imprint in there.
Did miss those theatrical over the top dramatic catwalks though…
