There’s something about this editorial that makes me think of home (Portugal, that is). The tiles, the lush greens, the architecture, the historical drama going on…I don’t know where it was shot, but it could have been here. Also, love the almost tragic vibe of it, like it was a awry tale of days bygone.
Addendum: Well, the reason why this so very much reminds me of Portugal, is because it is indeed Portugal (experiencing a duh moment to myself)! The first pic has been traced to the Marquês da Fronteira Palace in Lisbon, the castle and some other locations are in Sintra…so there you go. Interesting, that I can look at something and say it feels like home, even if I’ve never been there! It makes for a good excuse for sightseeing!

The castle is Sintra castle not Palmela, and the last photo is Quinta da Regaleira, also in Sintra. It´s a magical place with great spots to take unique photos.
