What’s up with them british girls and elaborate geometrical settings?
None of the songs has my undying love, but both videos are well worth the watch, because of all the visual hoopla that’s going on!
La Roux – Bulletproof
La Roux is the Brits new it girl, and she’s obviously borrowing a lot from the 80’s be it those synth sounds, or that Flock of Seagulls hairdo. The video is Tron meets kiddie land, full of color and shapes. Mi likey and the song is growing on me with each listen.
Freemasons feat. Sophie Ellis Baxtor – Heartbreak made me a dancer
Sophie has always come across to me as a poor man’s Kylie Minogue, and altough I’m not much a fan of this song, the video has some nice touches, even if it reminds of this.
