Mister Vania Zouravliov (yes, it’s a guy, I know the name can be slightly misleading) is a Russian illustrator currently living in the UK. You can say painting is in his blood, his parents were an art teacher and a painter, and his first memories of drawing were at age 4! He was a child prodigy, who by the age of 13 was exhibiting all over the world and was somewhat of a celebrity and there was even a TV show about him!
His work is a mash up of modern images, historical references and Eastern and Western graphic elements, creating dazzling imagery that frequently resort to Japanese women, lolitas, demons and all sorts of motifs.
Check the rest of his work at his agency Big Active.
You can also read a couple of interviews with him at PrintMag and Gestalten, or show him some love at MySpace.
