Unfortunately, after the untimely demise of Nagi Noda, we’ve lost yet another great creative mind at a young age: Gideon Baws.
Gideon who was 33 years old, was one fourth of the directing collective Shynola, along with Jason Groves, Chris Harding and Richard Kenworthy.
Shynola have directed a number of unique animated music videos for the likes of Queens of The Stone Age, Blur, Radiohead, Beck, etc. along with adds for Nike, Sony and Honda. A few of Shynola’s videos can be seen at RSA Blackdog’s site.
The circumstances surrounding Gideon’s death are still unclear, but they appear to be connected with an accidental blow to the head, earlier in the day of his death.
